The lure of spices, including turmeric and fenugreek, created the historically important Indian spice trade routes. Indian fare also instigated the international creation of curries, from Jamaica to the Far East.

The art of Indian food lies not in a high concentration of flavors but in the delicate layering of spices and other ingredients. By using whole spices, fresh-ground spice blends, local farm fresh produce, handcrafted cheeses and yogurts, plus an array of other authentic Indian ingredients, our chefs elicit the subtle and tantalizing flavors of India in each dish.

Besides the use of locally grown produce and fresh whole or ground spices, our generous menu includes handcrafted paneer/cheese (a delicious meat substitute), fresh fish (swordfish, halibut and salmon), mussels, shrimp or lobster (prepared in an Indian wok) and lamb, as well as a wide variety of snacks and sides. Each of our exotic sauces provides a finishing touch to our exciting menu.
